Solar Credits provides additional Renewable energy credits (REC's) for systems of up to 1.5kW in size. This recognises the special place that PV can provide in creating localised power generation. Effectively, this means that the first 1.5kW will create 5 X RECs. The solar credits are not means tested and are available for all installations. This means secondary houses, schools, investment and commercial properties can all benefit. People wishing to install PV now can make the most of the SC.
